May the Circle be Unbroken…

Gina and Katrina both taught at TarotCon-USA in Dallas last month (October 2013) and had the opportunity to include James Wells in a warm and empowering conversation about Tarot circles. Lots of wisdom sitting around this table. We cover circles as a symbol and as a way of being creative together.

As promised, here is the recipe James offers to our Oracle Soup listeners…enjoy!

Curried Red Lentil Soup:
* Sauté 2 chopped onions, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 chopped carrots, and 2 chopped celery stocks in some heated olive oil.
* Stir in a tablespoon (or more) of curry powder (I also like to add a touch of my own garam masala mix to it from time to time). Let cook until spices become fragrant.
* Add 2 cups of red lentils. Stir to coat them.
* Add 8 cups of water or stock. Bring to the boil.
* Reduce the heat, put the lid on, and simmer for an hour to 90 minutes.
* Add salt and pepper to taste and the juice of half a lemon.
